Earth Day, Book Fair, Spring Concert and Lemon Ball

Hello everyone!
We have a very exciting week!
On Monday we will celebrate Earth Day by having a Litterless Lunch and a litter pick up. Please have your child bring a lunch with the least amount of trash as possible. For example, an apple can be eaten and a reusable bowl of applesauce can be taken home and washed but a plastic container of applesauce will have to be thrown out. We ask students to think about how much waste each item they bring will create. Each class will compete to see who can create the least amount of trash.

Students may bring a picnic blanket and plastic grocery bags for us to collect and measure our trash. Also, students should dress and wear shoes appropriate for the litter pick up.

The Book Fair will be running all week. It will be available to our class on Tuesday and Friday so please send money on those days. It will also be open during the Spring Concert if families would like to visit.

The Spring Concert will be on Monday night at 7:00 PM. Students should arrive at 6:45 and wear black on bottom and white on top.

The Lemon Ball will be on Friday from 4:00-5:30 and costs $2.00. Permission slips are due by this Thursday. There will be lemonade and snacks to purchase for $1 each and all proceeds go to Alex's Lemonade Stand to help raise money for children with cancer. Please wear yellow for the event!
